Schwanke-Kasten Jewelers has added an on-site watchmaker to their staff to provide local and timely servicing of many different watch brands.
Lars Neilson, an Oconomowoc native, is a Swiss-certified watchmaker from the WOSTEP (Watchmaker of Switzerland Training Education Program). Upon completing his 2000 hour certification, he joined Breitling USA headquarters in Connecticut and worked there for nearly three years.
Neilson is excited to return to his home state, but especially to become the Head Watchmaker at Schwanke-Kasten Jewelers where he can service multiple brands. His new state-of-the-art repair studio is located at the Whitefish Bay store, 417 E. Silver Spring Drive. However, repairs can also be brought to Schwanke-Kasten’s downtown location, 763 N. Broadway.
