Zurich 9AM - Off to Basel World

Zurich 9am, I take a nice stroll to the train station and board the direct high speed train to Basel. It is a really nice commute. The train is Swiss on Time, and very clean. The trip takes about 50min traveling through beautiful green countryside. I was sad to miss the Badger game but glad they won, and will be home to see them win the Championship. Go Bucky!

My first appointment was with Rolex, where my ASM (Area Sales Manager) conducted the meeting; it’s his first Basel show, and he is really pumped.

During this meeting, we reviewed our shopping report, and I’m proud to say Schwanke-Kasten (Michelle, Amy, and Jen) were rated outstanding.  As you know, Rolex and Schwanke-Kasten have made a commitment to offer you the highest standards in customer service, product knowledge and luxury experience which you deserve when you shop for a Rolex from an Official Rolex Jeweler.

About the new products -- Cellini! WOW! What great timing. With our decision to end our relationship with JLC, this could not have come at a better time. These beautiful watches are OUTSTANDING. Perfect. Twelve Automatic 50meter waterproof watches in 39mm cases, 18k white gold or 18k Everrose. Three Models -- Time: classic 3 handed time only, Date: time and date at 3 with guilloche dial, and Dual Time.  The nice thing about these watches is the cases are familiar, the dials are gorgeous, and the movement is the same as the Explorer 1 (super reliable and easy to service) unlike say Patek. Fall delivery.

Also new to the Rolex core are the super cool Avant Garde Milgauss with the new Z blue dial and green crystal and the re-intro of the Sea Dweller 4000.  Both of these should be a Summer arrival.  Additionally the GMT Master 2 in 18k white gold with red and blue ceramic bezel is really special. I think its cool they’ve done it in white gold. You can now treasure your Vintage Steel GMT or Celebrate with a new white gold GMT 2. Available Late Fall.

Now off to Breitling…
